I should have paid attention when it said it was the first in a series. The story does not end you have to wait for the next installment. Please make it fast. That being said, the story starts off a little confusing, almost as if you are reading book two rather than book one. By the end you have the characters and their unit almost figured out. Mal can not talk. Due to an unfortunate incident he has been left with damaged vocal chords. But he can type, and why not have erotic IM chats with someone you are secretly following. Based on the description of this book, I thought I would be getting a more military man styled erotic read, and this is more Alias. That’s not a bad thing, but it does play into the confusion at the beginning of the story.
