In this fast paced, short 150 pages novella, Wells gives the foundation of a truly lovable character with spectacular potential for growth and an open story full of possible adventures. After reading this first in the series, I already know that the following novellas will deliver a world filled with complexity, both emotionally and morally, while seemingly being so fundamentally human, that it would be impossible to resist the urge to relate to the main character.
