Stalking Jack the Ripper
by Kerri Maniscalco
The ending was wild, my dudes.
I really really really loved the scientific aspect of this book. It was so lovely to have a heroine who was genuinely interested in science and to have all the details in the books. It was beautiful.
I wasn't a huge fan of the romance. The whole "my heart started pitter pattering as soon as we met" isn't really for me. And Thomas reminded me of someone I know so I wasn't the biggest fan of his. He did redeem himself in the ending, though he still kind of annoys me. But I like that he encourages Audrey to show off her intelligence and not hide who she is.
It was an interesting twist on one of the most infamous mysteries in the world.
I almost feel like it doesn't need a sequel but I'm excited to see where the next goes.
