Fantastic!

Jack and Sebastian find themselves on another quest, this time they have to locate a missing artefact but no one knows what it looks like. There’s numerous obstacles to overcome in this adventure and more of Sebastian’s ex hookups for Jack to contend with - his glowering is really on point! The usual snark and banter between these wonderful men is continued and once again it had me laughing out loud and the entire encounter with the orcs had me giggling. Jack and Sebastian still struggle with actual communication but they do eventually make declarations to each other. It will be interesting to see how the bombshell regarding Sebastian that was dropped on Jack at the end will affect their relationship.

This is once again a very enjoyable and engaging read with a terrific cast of main and secondary characters. Plenty of action and adventure to keep my interest and a bombshell of an ending that has me desperate for the next in the series.
