Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready
5.0

I loved this new take on vampire novels. Nowadays it seems like there is nothing new in this genre anymore. The first is that the vamps don’t get sexier and more powerful as they age. Instead they seem to linger in the decade in which they are reborn. (Long Live Disco Fever). A secret government agency that use to hunt vampires now helps out the “lost” and watches over cults to make sure humans don’t get hurt. A radio station was started by ex-agency offices to help keep vamps in the here and now while also living in the past. The new marketing intern has a fabulous idea: tell the world you’re vampires. Smart idea but with consequences. This book was fun and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
