Loud Unspoken Memories
by Samantha Christy
Wow, this was an incredible book. It was beautifil and heartbreaking, and a true testament to second chances at love after tragedy. Dallas lost his wife and son, and felt like he was just a shell of a man and simply exisiting, and not living. He meets Marti, who is snowed in with him during a blizzard and finds that they are not all that different: they have both suffered significant losses, and find solace in one another. Dallas is closed off and guarded, while Marti is more postive and upbeat and they change each other's lives, in a way where it's clear they were meant to find each other after these horrible devastations. It was so powerful, poignant, and phenomenol. There were so many beautifully written lines and I am so floored by how Samantha Christy writes and how she tells this heartbreaking but beautiful story. I HIGHLY recommend this book!
