» PLOT «
Tiffy and Leon both need the money, and left with few choices, they decide to share a flat and everything it comes with, even the bed. Since Leon works night shifts, they never see each other, but they still need to communicate, so they leave Post-It's behind and communicate through them. Despite being very different, Tiffy and Leon become friends and develop close relations, without ever meeting each other.
I was really intrigued and excited for the plot and I wasn't disappointed, but I'm not satisfied.
The central romance was a slow burn, especially since Leon starts the book with a parter and Tiffy just got out of a relationship. The romance didn't really stick out to me. There was nothing that made me want to root for the romance or the couple.
Something that felt really unrealistic was the fact thateveryone got a happy ending. (Holly is healthy, JW and Mr. Prior reunited, Mo and Gerty are in a relationship, Richie got out of jail, and Tiffy and Leon ended up together) .
Also, what happened to Justin's fiance? or Tiffy's therapist? They were rarely mentioned, but they just disappeared later on in the book. We never hear from them again (other than the 1-2 times they were mentioned).
I also didn't like it when, at the end,Richie had to give exposition about Tiffy's non-engagement . It felt really info-dumpy, and it pulled me out of the story.
However, I liked some of the banter between Tiffy and Leon. And there were genuine times where I want to continue reading and find out what happened. (Like when,Justin proposed to Tiffy and she "said" yes. )

This book was medium paced, any slower and I wouldn't have liked it. The book really didn't keep me engaged, I only finished the book so that I could move on. The moments where I wanted to continue to binge the book was rare.
» CHARACTERS «
My biggest gripe with the characters is with Tiffy and Gerty.
For Tiffy, why was it necessary for her to be eccentric and unique? This is most likely just me, but it give me Hazel, from [b:Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating|40189670|Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating|Christina Lauren|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1526941489l/40189670._SY75_.jpg|60023585] vibes, and I really didn't like the characterization of Hazel.
As for Gerty, you'd expect a person's best friend to be more considerate and open to their friend's feelings and actions. Even if your friend made (what you believe) a bad choice, you'd at least question them before you berate them for things you don't know about. (Which she didn't, because Tiffy purposefully separated Justin and Gerty from each other.)
However, the characterization of each person was good. They all were unique in their own ways, and had flaws too. I loved that Justin's actions and behavior continued to affect Tiffy, even after they broke up. And I loved that it took time for Tiffy to move on, even from a man like Justin.
» WRITING «
The writing styles for Tiffy's and Leon's perspectives were different. Tiffy's was more traditional, thus slower to get through. While Leon's was more direct, and faster paced. It was definitely easy to get through Leon's perspective, but the best part was the notes. What can I say, I'm a big fan of multi-media books.

The book was okay, but not special enough for me to recommend to others. Also not special or good enough for me to want to reread.
