when closed circuit rodeo meets reality tv in a competition with a million-dollar prize, both lilian sorrow island and aj garza find themselves competing. lil sorrow needs to save her family ranch in muskogee and aj needs to save the rodeo program that saved him as a wayward teen. with so much to lose the two find themselves playing enemies on screen while things heat up behind the scenes. lil is the first ever cowgirl to ride roughstock on the closed circuit and she will do whatever it takes to defeat undefeated rodeo champion aj. 

yall i ate this up!! aj garza is THE cowboy dream with his texas drawl and passion for giving back. he also knows that lil is possibly the only person more talented than he is. i loved every second of this. and tbh lil sorrow is my newest book girlfriend <3 also, let me just say the rodeo knowledge that marcella bell possesses makes this so much more realistic. i want to read the rodeo queen immediately after finishing. the rep in this was so great to see in a cowboy/western romance and i am begging yall to put this steamy, swoony romance on your tbr!!!
