love the premise and vibes of this. the writing was a bit cheesey and stiff at times, especially with the language (i read this physically but am very curious about the audio with all the spanish). the action was super fun to read! i think there's a lot more to be done in the world, so i hope this isn't a standalone, but there's no sign that there's another book coming (isobel book would be so good angela ....). the commentary on women's autonomy and power was super interesting and done well for a YA book. was very insta-lovey which was kinda eh but i can forgive it considering the short timeline and soulmate stuff.
