I love a good retold fairy tale, and this one qualifies. That being said, it is a little predictable.
Rosemund has been locked away all her life because she has been cursed to sleep for 100 years. At birth she was betrothed to Seth who is supposed to wake her up with a true love kiss to break the spell. Seth will do his duty by Rosemund because he can never forget the shy sheltered little girl he found hidden away in her father’s castle. The only snag in this plan is Kira, his best friend, guardian and protector. Kira like the rest of the kingdom knows of the engagement but she can’t help falling in love with her best friend. My only problem with the story is that the author is trying to write a historical style novel but the wording, actions, etc are too modern. Pick a genre and stick to it please.
