I have learned that to read a mystery I need to listen to it, and that I prefer British mysteries (they seem more dignified). I tried to read this several times, but the audio version is the one that hooked me and kept me listening. I loved the storyline and the multiple characters it could have been. Only a few times did I suspect who the killer really was, but shook it off. I loved how Strike tied together all those clues for us, and I am thrilled that there are more adventures of his to listen to!
