It was fun to see all of my old favorite characters again. But it does feel like an extended prologue. The stakes aren't as high as the books themselves, which makes me glad this is a graphic novel and not a novella, but I don't love the art. Everyone has these creepy oval faces and the only differentiating feature is their hair.
