Saturday afternoon spent at the pool, reading in the few moments I could to finish The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried by Shaun David Hutchinson. It took me all week to finish this one. It was a unique read, I just really struggled to get sucked into the story. I wanted more "meat" and depth. Even though they went through the feelings and aspects of July and Dino's relationship - I felt like it was surface level.
I was more interested in the emails from the Past and that was barely a blip in the book.
I would love more about July and Dino pre-fight or Dino and Rafi's relationship. Overall three stars ⭐⭐⭐
