I didn't have high expectations going into this one, it was one I randomly picked because it was available but then put off reading when another hold came in. That said, I really really enjoyed it! It had some family drama including a tragedy near the beginning I hadn't expected even though I sort of should have known it was part of the plot to some degree based on the summary. When Kailyn is in law school, she literally bumps into her teen crush from a tv show who happens to be going to law school too now in real life. They are friendly rivals but then he screws her over and that ends that. Five years later they are thrown back into each other's lives when she becomes the lawyer overseeing his kid sister's trust. A custody case, frienemies to lovers, etc. I enjoyed it and will definitely look for other romances by the author.
