I live in the Midlands so I'm in the best possible place to explore the whole state and Johnny Molloy's book is an excellent guide to doing so. Though I couldn't see myself carrying it with its instructions on the trail, I enjoyed the elevation change sections, the ease, the variety of lengths of hikes. All in all, a good guide to hiking in SC.
