There  was so much here I liked, and more I wanted to like… but there was also so much that felt like it dragged on unnecessarily.  Loved the characters, but they got too confusing at times.  Also, I needed more history of MCs to understand their actual conflict.  Contained some of my favorite tropes- second-chance romance, found family… and the end was fun- but overall it still fell a little flat for me.
