Emily St. John Mandel is so clever; I love how she played with alternate realities in this novel and made it feel so believable and real. This is the second novel I've read this year that is centered around the 2008 financial collapse, but this one managed to be written with less technical language which made it easier for me to read. The settings were fantastic, the characters were intriguing, and the structure of her timelines were perfect - they lured me right in and wouldn't let me go.

I can't wait until she publishes again!
