one of my favorite ya novels why lie? 

i loved mickey and jaysen's relationship and i think mickey is a really well-written main character. the romance and relationship between mickey and jaysen was also handled really well. i especially loved mickey's relationship with his sisters and his relationship with the hockey team. the ending could've been more developed but the book overall was great
