While initially fun and promising the type of weird litfic I enjoy, I couldn't help but feel my enjoyment taper off the further this went. We eventually drift from the oddness of a blob turning into a love interest and focus more sharply on Vi. She's an extremely unlikeable character, extremely selfish and incapable of taking accountability for her actions (until the very end at least). And yet in her final moments of character development we decide to focus on the generically handsome white male love interest?

Meh.
