Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare
4.0

Oh, wow... Where to start?

I definitely enjoyed this book, but a little less than Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows. I did not have that 'I can't put it down I need to read more' feeling until the last part of this book. It actually took me months to finish, because sometimes I wouldn't look at it for weeks.

I'm also not the biggest fan of big books. I wouldn't say they literally scare me, but they're intimidating.

But, I still loved this book, the plot and the characters. There were definitely some plottwists that I didn't see coming, like Kieran becoming king and Alicante no longer being the homeland of the Shadowhunters. (I did see the Malec wedding coming because I've seen many spoilers). And I do believe it is a good ending of this series. I will miss these characters so much, and can't wait until that series about Kit and Ty is released (I don't know what it's called, or when it's released, I have only read a little about it.)

The Dark Artifacts is definitely my favorite book series, not only in thr Shadowhunters Chronicles, but in general. I'm sad that I finished it - because it means no more new books. But I will definitely reread them one day.

I don't know what else to say. I just finished it, and I'm still in a 'wow it's finished' phase. Maybe I'll add more details later if I remember anything.
