Book two takes us past the sit-in, and on a Freedom ride to the March on Washington. Over the course of two plus years, John Lewis, SNCC, and other organizations continue their peaceful protests to stop segregation and attain equal rights. This book moves faster and through a larger time period than book one, but it is still powerful, informative, and wonderfully done.
