Cecilia Fitzpatrick finds a mysterious letter from her husband that says not to be read until after his death. He acts strangely when she mentions it and makes her swear not to read it. Curiosity gets the better of her, but what she finds in this letter makes her wish she would have never read it. The Husband’s Secret tells the story of three women – Cecilia, Tess, and Rachel – and how their lives become intertwined because of the secret Cecilia uncovers in her husband’s letter.

I enjoyed this story and liked how these ladies’ lives all intersected throughout the book. I listened to the audio book, and I found the narrator a bit irritating. I’m not sure if I read the actual book if my rating would have been higher or not.
