Since She’s Been Gone is a fast-moving, action-packed thriller that hooked me from page one. The in depth look at anorexia and how it can control one’s thoughts as well as an in depth look at the beginning of the opioid crisis and it’s on going effects and the power of big pharma were a major part of the story and were so well done and so in depth that I felt like I was reading a true crime documentary rather than fiction.
