Axel and Rooney. I love them so much. The pining, the marriage of convenience, the friendship, the tension, the build-up. I loved it all. The story didn't drag too much with the pining, but it also didn't go too fast with going from friends to marriage to lovers. It was perfectly paced and I loved the tension between Axel and Rooney as well as the internal thoughts and how they struggled and why they struggled to admit their love for one another. Second favorite pairing in the Bergman Brother series.
