The rating for book one and two will be the same, because I am rating them as a duology, not the individual books.

This series whisked me off my feet. I started this not thinking that I was going to enjoy it, but holy- the tension was absolutely perfect. After finishing book 1 I was up until 1 am on this book reading over 50% just to calm down enough to go to sleep.
 
The story of healing and mutual growth was so captivating, and I truly found this duology memorable and, even though I was stressed, comforting as well.

I'm a fan of finished series, so I probably won't start the next duology until book two is out, but I am excited to see what this world continues to bring!
