The Outsider
by Stephen King
3.75
The overall story of The Outsider was interesting and well executed, but I do have two complaints that seem to be common when reading King. Firstly, the book took something that could have been accomplished in 400 pages and turned it into 600. Secondly, the ending seemed rushed.
Outside of these complaints there are many of the calling cards of a fun King novel: a large cast of characters, atmosphere and suspense. I would recommend it as a read even with the complaints in mind.
