I have mixed feelings about this book. The author did a good job of keeping me guessing to the very end. I was expecting something more gruesome but was disappointed to come to just a "regular" murder. I was surprised about the villain but the crime did not fit the expectation. I can't say much about my thoughts without giving away spoilers.
The pace of the book was a mix. A moments it moved fast but other times it was like let's get moving on this. There was no edge of the seat timing though because of the slower pace so it is hard to call it a "thriller". Plus it was getting a bit tiresome reading about the same points over and over such as how attractive Warner is and how much Claire loved her children.
A positive is the shorter book which leads you to a conclusion much faster.

Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.
