This is the kind of sequel you want. It draws you deeper into the characters, expanding relationships and the world they live in. This novel is so well crafted and complex and beautiful. It shows you the real horror of everyday post-Katrina New Orleans and what the people who live there went through. Can't wait for the third novel.
