A fun cozy-mystery with my all-time favorite TV characters: Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia.
The characters remained true to their TV personas, their friendship & love for each other, all with their usual jokes and laughs….this time thrown in with a murder-mystery and a St. Olaf traditional wedding in Miami.
Was fun to see the Girls as their own Scooby gang, trying to solve the murder when one of them is wrongfully accused of the crime—while still planning and attending pre-wedding events and festivities: a tuna-centric brunch, a bachelorette party at a gay nightclub (of course), a bus tour of Miami, a dash for herring, a donkey, and all the cheesecake.
This was fun—and I will say, the mystery twist was pretty smart…then maybe got predictable. But, like the sitcom, book wrapped up nicely by the end.
I needed more Blanche in this story! She didn’t get near as much story time as the other three….and she didn’t have near as many Southern-stories and her sensuality was at a vet low-level.
Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia had major storylines and focus.

I had an eARC from NetGalley.
