I did enjoy this book there is just a lot going on, although it is all tied up nicely and explained at the end. I also thought one of the twists was very obvious and it took the police way too long to work it out which made it a bit unrealistic. However, it’s a great fast-paced read and I wasn’t 100% sure who the bad guy was. I also loved the drama that the extremely wealthy and secretive Caldwell family brought to the story. I also liked the chapters from runaway/missing teen Kirsten's POV. She was pretty badass and I just really felt for her. Even though this is book 2 in the series and I haven’t read book 1 it didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything important. I will probably go back and read book 1 though because I enjoyed Kay’s character and want to get to know her more. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
