With the recent diversity in YA campaign, I find myself turning a critical eye to everything I read. How diverse is the cast? How are female characters dressed? For me, "Cleopatra in Space" passes. I'm not sure I liked the skirts, but they definitely were an appropriate length and there weren't any inappropriate shots. In terms of race, Cleopatra has tan skin, her friends are white, and the professors range from different cats to an Asian gentleman, and the background is populated with aliens.

Now, as for the story line: I like the way it starts in the middle of the action, then takes you back to where it all started and leads back to that point. The story is good enough. I'd like to see where it leads.
