Amora must demonstrate her magic to show she is the true heir, however the demonstration goes wrong and she ends up escaping a dreaded fate with a Pirate. On her run with the pirate, she discovers a curse that one day could travel to her island and destroy the life she knows. She takes this as an adventure and uses it to prove herself to her people. Will she be able to break the curse before it reaches her people?
I really loved the writing, the world building, and the characters. There were a few boring parts, but for the most part it was amazing. I really look forward to the sequel.
