Get a Life, Chloe Brown
by Talia Hibbert
Well, that was Fun! I do love reading books where the characters can actually communicate with each other and act like mature adults!
But! Even though I enjoyed reading this immensely, I still thought that it was kinda cheesy and predictable at times. The whole trope of people getting together to work on one of the character’s ‘bucket-list’ is not really my fave to read about. But aside from my nitpicks with this book, I still appreciate the writing, the humour, the characters and how they deal with trauma and despite of all that they still manage to communicate with each other which makes it believable to me that these characters are actual adults. Bonus point because Chloe and Red are just so motherfucking cute with their banter and all <3
To end this quick review, i just wanna say that romance as a genre is generally not something i gravitate towards, but this one was just a really quick, fun, lighthearted read for me and I had fun! Honestly 10/10 would recommend.
