This is my first time reading Ocean Vuong and just wow. The poems were so gripping and I did not expect to chuckle at some of them. I found the poems without any punctuation to be challenging to read in the beginning but once you read them for a while you get the hang of it. The feelings of grief are so raw. I need to buy this book so I can reread and make annotations in it.
