After a couple of lackluster installments (at least for me), I have to say that I enjoyed this book in the Charley Davidson series, BUT I had some major problems with it. First off, it was a solid Charley story that moved along the main storyline as well as giving you a couple of mysteries to follow along. The characters all were his or her classic selves and the whole world Jones created keeps getting more complex. Now, the bad part. The mystery was pretty obvious. I figured it out the second Charley interviewed her client. The flow was also a little off for me. It was very fast in parts and very drawn out in others. I liked the part where Charley and Reyes had it out and talked but it lasted three chapters. And then the end flew by. Even with this thought, I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.
