I had been putting this one off for so long. I will admit that because it was more of a western had me hesitant to pick it up. Thankfully, Whitney @ WhitReadsLit suggested a buddy read and I’m so glad she did! I did have a harder time with this one than the previous two. My biggest issue had to be the fact that we don’t really get a lot of the main character, Jane. This is really a lot more about Annie Oakley, who I adored. I think if this would have been about her from the get go, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I did enjoy the modern pop references and all the wit and humor they add to these books. I am really looking forward to the next one though! Thank you, for buddy reading with me! I had a fun time.
