Perfect conclusion to a story that was already in my all-time favorites.
There is a slight shift in tone since we’re following Silver now, but I think it was fitting to the themes of this book. I found the time jump disappointing at first, but it made sense later on and now I couldn’t think of how else this story could’ve unfolded otherwise.
Maud is such a character too. I don’t quite know what to make of her yet, but honestly it was refreshing even if she could be a little jarring at times.
