I really liked this book! Although some parts seemed unrealistic and unbelievable, I loved the story and the characters. There was a lot of inclusion and representation in this book, which is very much needed as well as appreciated.

This book was heavy and emotional at times, but it also balanced out with really sweet and tender moments and some spice. I enjoyed the plot, and how we had two characters who had to go on a journey, both separately and together, to heal from their abusive past relationships. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
