Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty
3.0
sad slow-paced

I’m just going to rip off the bandaid- this was not for me.

I enjoyed What Alice Forgot and The Husband’s Secret and even Nine Perfect Strangers.

But since her tv success, it feels like everything she writes is made-for-tv.
It’s great if you like that sort of thing. I rather enjoy reading a story meant to be read.

The book itself wasn’t bad. It was thought-provoking and created quite the conversation in my house. Would you want to know how and when you will die? Do you believe in seemingly otherworldly abilities?

This was gripping and it wasn’t a page turner. I finished it quickly because I needed to be done. I just wanted to move on from Cherry and her weirdness.

Also, the ending is bad.
