Hum…Mia Sheridan is one of my favorite authors but this book was not what I expected. We meet Noelle and Evan who go through a horrible experience together. I wish it was told in first person. It was difficult to connect with the characters in the way it was written. Duel POVs would have made the book better in my opinion. If you are a MIA Sheridan fan like I am, I would unfortunately skip this one.

I have heard it has a connection with her book Bad Mother (which I have not read). If you have read that book and enjoyed it then maybe give this one a read.

The audio for this book is awful. I stopped listening to it and solely read the book.
