I thought maybe the second book in this series would be a bit better, boy was I wrong. This lacked all the good things the first book had (which wasn't much). The plot wasn't stellar, pacing was off, and I honestly didn't buy into the romance which is kind of the whole point of books like this. I thought the friendships and family were a better focus.
