Unexpectedly sweet and full of dangerous, possessive vampires, fated mates, forbidden attraction, and a heroine thrown into a dark new existence she never asked for. Amy did feel a bit melodramatic at times but given her circumstances I guess there’s no shock there and watching her grapple with her transformation added a nice emotional layer to the book. Overall I enjoyed this read and it definitely satisfied my itch to read some spicy bloodsucking chaos.
