This is one of my favorite Black Widow stories I’ve read, yet. I think this is the most badass I’ve ever seen Natasha written. She’s unapologetic, and blood thirsty in every issue of this and I couldn’t get enough. The plot also worked really well with Natasha’s character (she goes to Madripoor and takes down a child trafficking ring called No Restraints Play). Her actions and motives made some of the most sense I’ve ever seen, and she was so well written and in character. I also really got into this art style, and it really fit well with the overall story. No Restraints Play also helped repair Natasha’s character assassination after the fuckery that was Secret Empire, and gave her back her personality going onwards (something I think Tales of Suspense tried to do, but wasn’t the most successful with.)


I was so sad when this was over, I absolutely loved this so much. It’s funny too, I’ve been putting off reading this comic for a bit because I’ve been nervous that I wouldn’t enjoy it. But this is easily in my top 3 Black Widow stories ever.
