The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett
4.0

If someone asked me what this book was about I don't know if I could answer. Its a whimsical, weird, fantasy book. I got really confused by the writing sometimes. It didn't have a complex and breathtaking plot, but it was still a lot of fun! It was odd because sometimes I thought I had no idea what that was going on, but then I realised I actually did? Throughout the book I was going to give the book 3 stars, but when I got to the last page I got this really nice feeling and had to bump it up to 4. Think of it more as 3.75.

I can clearly see this wast and complicated world Pratchett has created, but I think I need a few more books to get fully into it. I'm still a bit confused, hehe. Its really original and I am beyond fascinated by it, so I'm just looking forward to learning more! Luckily for me I have about 40 more books in the series *dies a bit inside* I have made a huuuge commitment! I don't see myself finishing up this series this year or even the next, but I think this series will be something I will pick up over the years ...

I don't know if The Colour of Magic was the best place to start in this series, but it is listed as the first and I know there are a lot of series inside the series itself... Puh! *confused* But I still understood what that was going on even if I didn't completely understand this massive world that we were on. My favourite character was Luggage *heart eyes*

I don't think this is a book for everybody, I can easily see why someone would not like or really love this book! But for me it was fun, confusing and something I'm eager to learn more about.
