Not at all what I expected based on reviews. It's funny, yes...but a very specific flavor of humor. Quite sharp, but I disagree with others' notes that it's offensive or overly judgemental.

Worsth noting, the author runs a bookshop for used books...which brings a different aspect to all of this. 

I don't regret the audio read, but not sure I'd recommend. Was more of a "pass the time read"...but it did get me to chuckle a few times!
