Dark and disturbing story about an almost 10 year old who is abducted from an aquarium. She is now 15 and tasked with finding her replacement.

Many reviewers described this book as graphic, and I somewhat disagree. While you reading understand what is going on, no assaults are written in detail, which I appreciated. I hate when assaults are written for shock value.

The writing style was simple and a little disjointed, reflecting the tone of “Alice.” I enjoyed the writing but found it a little confusing as some points. 

I thought it was a very satisfying ending.
