I enjoyed this cozy and whimsical tale of family and home in a little southern town. I really enjoyed the main characters and setting, and over time came to enjoy every last one of the characters! I thought that the foodie details were so fun. I love to imagine those delicious breakfasts and pies. There was a little romance, though it was not the focus, and all off the page. Not really sure that the chapters from the reporter’s pov were needed, but they were ok! I would definitely read more by this author! The audio was good!!
