There was a lot that I liked in this book, and some that I didn’t. I mostly didn’t like that basically nothing happened. This was an extremely character driven book, which isn’t bad, I just prefer a little more to happen. The central conflict was interesting, but if it hadn’t ended the way it did I probably would have rioted. TJR is popular for a reason and, while this isn’t my favorite of hers, her appeal and readability is really great.
