Pride By the Book by Jeff Adams

Really enjoyed this. Lots of emphasis on running a Pride Festival, which I enjoyed. The relationship almost takes second place. That's not a bad thing, as it's great to see the two leads talk to each other and work out their differences like adults. There are also a lot of hockey players appearing from the writer's other books, which I've never read. I would have liked to have seen more with the hockey player characters from A Touch of Maple, the third book in this loose series; they're mentioned a couple of times but that seems like a missed opportunity.

It's something of an insta-match, and I'm not sure I really saw the chemistry between the two leads, but I enjoyed so much of what was going on, with organizing the festival and supporting banned books and working through anxiety, that I didn't mind. (I was given a digital ARC for review.)
