This was such a sweet and spicy little book! Eben has been in the background of a few books now since he spends most of his time in the sick room as a Ka-esh medic, and this novella was his time to shine. 

Eben is a sweet, shy, and anxious little guy with a big ole crush on Tryggr of Clan Skai, who is a bit of a f^ckboy. Lucky for Eben, Tryggr has a heart of gold and is more than happy to care for him and give him the attention he deserves. 

This is a slow burn, friends to lovers romance with lots of spicy and vulnerable moments between the two MMCs. I had such a fun time, and it was a nice break between the longer stories in the series.
